JANG WOO HYUK started out in the Korean group H.O.T. as a rapper and dancer. H.O.T. were together for 5 years from 1996-2001, when they broke up. After the break up, Woo Hyuk - along with fellow ex-H.O.T. members Lee Jae Won and Tony An - formed a new group called jtL (so called for the initials of their names j - jang, t - tony, l - lee). To date, jtL have produced 2 full albums and 1 half album: Enter the Dragon, Love Story and Runaway. More recently, Woo Hyuk has been a solo artist, releasing his first solo album 'No More Drama' in 2005 and his second 'My Way' in 2006.

In addition to his work in jtL and his solo career, Woo Hyuk was the CEO for Newest Entertainment Dance Academy and in late 2007, left for his military service.
